We hope that you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy.
The last several weeks have brought a renewed hope that we are finally beginning to see the light at the end of the very dark tunnel we all have been navigating for the last year.
Just recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its travel guidance and now states that fully vaccinated people can travel at low risk to themselves and do not need Covid-19 testing or post-travel quarrantine.
Our home town of New Orleans has done an excellent job and we are both now fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
We now have our sights set firmly on our return to the Philadelphia Flower Show in June which will be held outdoors for the first time in its history. It is so fitting that our return to travel will bring us to Philadelphia as that was the last tour we were able to lead before Covid changed all of our lives.
As an extra added level of protection on our 2021 trips, we are further limiting the number of participants on each tour. This allows us to easily implement any necessary continued distancing and capacity limits of the places we travel. We have also added more private events and visits to our already exclusive itineraries.

Our partnerships with the people and the businesses that make our tours so successful are more important than ever. We’ve been taking this time to ensure all the elements of our tours are safe and this includes the hotels, coach companies, gardens, restaurants, event spaces, guiding organizations, and more.
Below is just a brief list of a few of the new protocols and standards our 2021 partners have instituted to make sure you can travel with confidence:
- Marriott Cleanliness Council and Commitment To Clean Program
- Relais & Chateau Veritas control bureau certification which specializes in testing, inspection and certification
- Klein Transportation of Philadelphia has an excellent Ride Safe Program including new HVAC system filters with MERV 8 or higher rating
Rest assured we are continually monitoring the global situation as well as that in each of our local destinations in the United States.
Lastly, we can not overstate the impact all of you have had on our lives and we can’t thank you enough for your many phone calls, cards and letters offering your words of encouragement and support. They meant the world to us and kept us going during the most difficult days of this unprecedented challenge.
So, we look forward to helping you travel again, to celebrate life, the beauty of nature and our very special connections.
